    Question about Honaker's field.....

Is the new field still at the elementary school on Route 67 going towards Swords Creek. I know they put the field turf down but I didn't know if it was in a new location or still in the same spot. Any help would be appreciated.

Go to Lebanon, get on 19 toward Cedar Bluff/Rosedale/Richlands, at Rosedale turn left on Highway 80 toward Honaker, travel 5-6 miles on Highway 80, turn right on Route 67 towards Swords Creek and the Elementary School is about a half a mile on the left and the football stadium sits below the hill, if the stadium is still in the same spot.

I think UTVOLS2 meant to say "Go to ABINGDON, turn left on 19 ..." (just past the RR tressle).

"turn right on Route 67 towards Swords Creek" (half-way down a hill, in a curve) "and the Elementary School is about a half a mile on the left and the football stadium sits below the hill..."
It might be closer to a mile. When you come around the curve and see the school up to your left, the stadium is behind that hill.

Why would you go to Abingdon??

Alt. 58 to Hansonville, left on 19 towards Lebanon.

    Re: Question about Honaker's field.....

Please don't think I am trying to insult anyone from Honaker, I know absolutely nothing about Honaker, have never been there. I am wondering what time should we get there? Is there enough seating for the "Raider Nation"? I hate being on top of one another, it's hard to jump up and get excited when you are sitting on a strangers lap...lol Anyone know how big the stadium is? Or rather what the seating is like?

    Re: Question about Honaker's field.....

Plenty of visitor's seats, it should be okay. You do turn left on 19 at Hansonville, there are signs from there that lead you right to Honaker and the field sits right off the road behind the school. There is a sign that points to the exit for the athletic complex.
You're just mad cause the voices don't talk to you.
